I think it'll work just fine with USB/Bluetooth mouse out of the box, you just have to turn the cursor back on in the video settings, if it was disabled. I mean, Android build of the game is literally a direct port of game's PC version which supports mouse, so..
That's a rather weird way to control it lol. We support either mouse, or touch, no in-between shit like this. If you really want to be a masochist, then I suggest you try running Windows version of FloppyScryption in Winlator, IIRC the game functions fine in there, and Winlator has mouse working this way. Though at this point you might as well just run the original game in there XD
Absolutely amazing!!! It's incredible you were able to make it fit on a floppy disk!! You did an amazing job!!!! ^^ Would there happen to be any future plans to add controller support for the android build? I've been playing it on my ayn thor with just the touch screen but it would be awesome if at some point it had controller support if possible. Thanks!!!!
In theory I could add support for controllers in 2.0, but I'm not entirely sure what exactly the controls could be? I assume it's something more fancy than just controlling the cursor with joystick :p But if you have some reference I'd be glad to implement it
I was thinking it would work like the Act 2 battles on the console versions of Inscryption. Its very simple with basically just selecting a card and pressing A. I have a couple clips of the switch version card battling in Act 2 I could send you on discord for reference, if you'd like. :3
I've put the music file into the same folder as the game but it still says "Sound is Broken" in the settings. I've tried reinstalling both multiple times but it hasn't worked
"Sound is broken" is independent of the music DLC, it means the game's entire sound system is broken for one reason or another. If you're playing the x64 version, try getting the x32 one, that tends to fix it for people.
If that doesn't work either, try running the game from command line, it should print the exact error and I'll try to help you to fix it. Sorry for this in advance :(
Yeah I'm using the x64 version because my antivirus keeps blocking the x32 version, I'll try and see if I can disable it so I can download that file. Thank you for your quick response
*Edit* I've downloaded the x32 file now and its working fine now.
Ok this is amazing. I love this. The one thing I wish was in this is was the ability to actually unlock stuff like decks and challenges. Not the painting stuff cuz I'm aware that'd be a bit hard. That way this would feel like the actual rougelike. I'm still grateful I can play this on mah phone tho TvT
This was actually one of the ideas for the content update, a challenge that replaces the normal bosses with other Scrybes' Act II battles, so most likely it will actually be implemented when I return from break and start working on 2.0 ^^
I did want to make a devlog video at some point, as there is indeed some interesting stuff in the making of this game, but as you can probably see from the joke trailer for this game, I look and sound absolutely horrible, so I'm not 100% sure whether I'll actually film it

Cool stuff!
can you add a mouse mode for Android where you drag a mouse rather than press on it?

i mean't rather than touching (for example the start button) i drag a mouse cursor to the start button then touch the screen to click it

the music dlc no workie on deskop for me whatever folder i put it in :(
however the mobile version is really fun and i missed my bus stop because of it today, 10/10
That's strange. But hey, I learned my lesson, in 2.0 music will be directly in the executable (like on Android), no DLCs XD
P.S. if you open settings and switch to the "sound" tab, it should show you what exactly went wrong when loading the DLC

(Sorry for taking so long to respond, for some reason itch decided to mark your comment as spam and hide it :/)

This is absolutely fantastic! You did an amazing job!
For those seeking the music for the Windows game install this;
and place it in the same folder as the game itself
Utterly insane achivement! A lot of us were dreaming of having something like this on the go - now we do. Thank you!

Best android port since Ultradroid! ^^
(My one suggestion currently would be a mode that adds Act 2's bosses to Act 1.)

SO COOL... i would love some sort of technical devlog for this, 1.4 Megabytes is really impressive!
